Kampanye negatif yang ditebarkan untuk kepentingan pariwisata mereka.

Orang berkunjung ke Bali bukan cuma mau mandi matahari di pantai, tapi juga untuk lebih mengenal seni budayanya.

South-Western Australia is better value than Bali, claims tourism chief

MARGARET  River tourism authorities have labelled the region's main holiday rival Bali  as dirty, overpriced and a terrorist threat.

Augusta-Margaret  River Tourism Bureau chief executive Simon Ambrose said cheap airfares and  fierce competition among carriers had made Bali a top getaway for West  Australians.
But he said a trip to Margaret River was better  value, less hassle and much safer.
His comments came after the  Health Department announced that a fourth West Australian had contracted  legionnaire's disease while holidaying in Bali since last  month.
"You're not going to get legionnaire's disease, dengue  fever or have any of those issues if you come to the South-West," Mr Ambrose  said.
"I don't want to be alarmist but, for me, I'd prefer to  have a safe, secure holiday rather than one with risks."
While  accommodation could be more expensive, Mr Ambrose said the cost was "offset by  the lack of airfares and passports required to get down  south".
And he said visitors to Margaret River could find comfort  in knowing their carbon footprint was lower than flying to  Bali.
A press release issued by the tourism bureau went on to  state: "Another major difference in the two destinations is  cleanliness."
And it pointed to the threat of terrorism, saying:  "Major issues such as terrorism and health are not as relevant, if at all,  when holidaying at home."
But a spokesman at WA's Indonesian  Consulate, Syahri Sakidin, said the claims were wrong and it was unfair to  compare the two destinations.
"To say Bali is dirty, I don't  think so," he said.
"Terrorism is a big issue that is a concern  for everyone in the world. Everywhere we go we have to think about that, not  just Bali,"
